SPAN 4102 - Peninsular Literature & Culture II

Prerequisites: SPAN 4101. This course is the second part of a survey of Spanish literature in its cultural-historical context, from the second half of the nineteenth century to the present. Readings include important literary works of several genres, cultural trends, and literary movements, originating on the Iberian Peninsula. Emphasis will continue to be placed on the development and refinement of the students’ critical skills for literary and cultural analysis.
