COMM 2830 - Media Ethics3 hours (M) Through a variety of case studies in journalism, broadcasting, advertising, public relations, and entertainment, this course explores ethical decision-making through an introduction to related ethical theories and philosophies. With an aim toward developing a framework for ethical reasoning, the course will introduce appropriate tools that can be used to evaluate ethical dilemmas facing media practitioners.
