Prerequisites: HIST 1111 HIST 1112 HIST 2111 HIST 2112. Must be a History major or minor or have permission of instructor. This course provides a chronological study of the history of Georgia from its colonial origins through the 21^st century. Emphasis includes “Old South vs. New South” transitions, social and cultural shifts, and Georgia’s current positions sociologically and politically.
