BUSP 4991 - Strategic Issues and Analysis

3 hours
This course provides students the opportunity to apply multiple concepts from their program of study as they develop answers to key questions in their field. Commonly, a student will develop a challenging question and then research multiple possible answers to that question. The student will then offer critical reasoning to support his or her choice of the best possible answer. Alternatively, if a local host organization or business is available, the students will offer a critical assessment of the performance of the organization or business. In this form of the course, students will be responsible for developing an overall perspective as well as providing more specific insights into a selected portion of the organization’s activities. This course is designed for students in their final semesters of a BUSP program. Students will be expected to demonstrate critical thinking, sound reasoning, independent effort, the integration of concepts from the program of study, and strong research and writing skills. Previously MRKT 4990 and MNGT 4990.
