PHIL 3100 - Continental Philosophy 3 hours Prerequisites: One Previous 1000-2000 Level Course or AP Equivalent in Any Humanities or Social and Behavioral Sciences Discipline, or By Permission of Instructor Contemporary philosophies - often referred to under the umbrella of “postmodern” philosophy - open up new horizons for thinking through subjectivity via the relevance of bodies, institutions, language, and more. Topics may include deconstruction, post-structuralism, critique of power, critical theory, and psychoanalysis. When Offered: Fall or Spring Every Two Years
