BIOL 3501 - Microbiology

Prerequisites: BIOL 1108, CHEM 1212 with a grade of “C” or better. This course will survey prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms emphasizing bacteria and viruses. Classification, evolution, cytology, genetics, physiology, and ecology of microorganisms; laboratory techniques for isolating, culturing, and identifying microorganisms. Three one-hour lectures and one three-hour lab required per week.When Offered: Spring Odd Years
