ODLD 3130 - Challenge Course Management

Prerequisites: A grade of “C” or better in ODLD 2110, ODLD 2120 and two of the following: PALS 1450, PALS 1460, PALS 1470, PALS 1480, PALS 1490, PALS 1500. Must be an Outdoor Leadership major. Co-requisite: ODLD 2130, ODLD 3110, ODLD 3120 This course provides students with the opportunity to gain leadership experience and competency in designing, managing and evaluating challenge course programs for a diversity of clients. Risk management, technical skill development, program design and planning, group management, facilitation and debriefing, teaching effectiveness, and best practices will be explored.
