ARTS 3310 - Issues in Contemporary Art

This course provides an in-depth study of Contemporary Art in the years after 1970. We will define the nature of Modernism and Postmodernism and gauge the latter’s development historically, stylistically, and culturally. This course will examine the movements, styles, artists, and theories that animate contemporary critical debate.
