ARTS 1111 - History and Criticism of Art II

This course surveys Renaissance and Early Modern, Modern, and Contemporary art and architecture. Beginning with Renaissance Art in Italy and Early Modern Art in Northern Europe, continuing through Baroque and Rococo, 18-19th century art, and concluding with Modern and Contemporary, students will journey through the history of art as they consider their relationship between artistic production and cultural change.
