COMM 3950 - Editing and News Production

Prerequisites: COMM 2050 and instructor approval. Students will be introduced to the basics of editing and producing newspaper content. An intimate knowledge of AP Style will be developed, as well as standard content editing and fact-checking practices. Students will be expected to develop a competency with several different desktop publishing software packages. Either 3950 or 3951 may be applied toward Media Communication Concentration major electives (not both).
