SPRS 4700 - Sport and Recreation Studies Practicum 3 hours The practicum affords students a paid or voluntary, part-time opportunity to apply classroom theories, concepts, philosophies, and techniques to practical “real world” situations, and provides them the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supervised, sport, recreation, leisure, or fitness related setting. The course consists of acquiring 120 hours of practical experience for the semester. Prerequisites: Open to SPRS majors with approval of instructor.
