MATH 1001 - Math Modeling

Prerequisites: An appropriate score on SAT/ACT or math placement exam. This course uses graphical, numerical, and symbolic techniques to describe and explore real-world data. Emphasis is on the use of elementary functions (linear, quadratic exponential, logarithmic, and polynomial) to construct useful mathematical models, and to analyze them critically.
