                  ASTR 3201 - Intro to Astrophysics & CosmologyCredits: 3 hours Prerequisites: ASTR 1106  ,PHYS 1111  and PHYS 1112  or PHYS 2111  and  PHYS 2112  with a grade of “C-” or better. When Offered: Fall as needed
  A broad spectrum course that introduces students to modern astronomy from the point of view of the non-physics major. Topics include planetary systems, star formation and foundations of cosmology. Recently discovered objects such as black holes are also considered.
