ASTR 2210 - Practical Astronomy

Credits: 2 hours
Prerequisites: ASTR 1105, ASTR 1106 with a grade of “C-“ or better.
This course is intended for those who wish a hands-on astronomical experience. Telescopes, cameras and computers will be used to gather and analyze data from the cosmos. Included in the course will be picture taking using both film and digital cameras, darkroom techniques and telescopic observations.
