Personal recording devices, including but not limited to security cameras, webcams, video doorbells, nanny cams, and audio recorders, are not allowed in any area where individuals have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Areas that are considered to have a reasonable expectation of privacy include, but are not limited to, residential rooms and common spaces within all residential facilities.
Examples of such areas include, but are not limited to:
- Bedrooms and sleeping areas
- Bathrooms, showers, and changing rooms
- Private offices within residential facilities
- Study rooms or meeting rooms reserved for private use
- Lounges and community living rooms
- Shared kitchens and dining areas
- Hallways and stairwells
- Laundry rooms
- Lobbies and entryways
- Shared study spaces
