MATH 2242 - Discrete Mathematics

Prerequisites: MATH 1113  or MATH 2201 . Taught based on demand. Introduction to discrete mathematics for math, computer science, business and science students. Discrete mathematics is a one-semester course in applied mathematics, involving discrete models unified by a strong algorithmic emphasis. Topics include sets, relations and functions, graphs and trees, counting techniques, logic and proof.
