FREN 2206 - French Literature/Theatrical Work

Prerequisites: FREN 2201, FREN 2202. These elective courses are taught on an ad hoc basis throughout the academic year. They are not sequential. FREN 2205 is an in-depth study of a novel, FREN 2206 studies theatre and FREN 2207 concentrates on short story and tale. The courses emphasize discussion of each different genre, the historical and social context of the selected works, an in-depth reading of the selected works, vocabulary acquisition and grammar review. These courses are taught solely in the foreign language.
