ORGL 4200 - Crisis Leadership and Organizational Continuity 3 hours All organization sectors (public, private, and not-for-profit) face the possibility of impacts from disruptive events ranging from mere inconvenience and short-lived disruption of normal operations to the very destruction of the organization. Organizational functions that leaders deploy to mitigate these impacts include prevention, preparedness, response and recovery and include risk management, contingency planning, crisis management, emergency response, and business resumption and recovery. This course explores the leader’s role in achieving preparedness, responding to events, and recovering the business to resume normal operations.
