ENVS 4105 - Environmental and Biological Data Analysis 3 hours Prerequisites: ENVS 1102 (for environmental science majors) or BIOL 1108 (for biology majors) and MATH 2000 with a grade of “C-” or better. An introduction to application of statistical concepts to biological and environmental problems and datasets. This course will include graphical analysis and hypothesis testing and the use of parametric and nonparametric statistics. Students will become familiar with correlation analysis, analysis of variance, linear regression modeling, logistic regression modeling, and model-building strategies. Students will learn to use R software and complete a final project.
