CHEM 3350 - Environmental Chemistry 4 hours Prerequisites: CHEM 1212 with a grade of “C-” or better Students in this course will apply the principles of chemistry to gain an understanding of the environment and environmental issues. Topics of interest include atmospheric chemistry, air pollution, climate change, water chemistry, water pollution, water treatment, soil chemistry, and utilization of insecticides and herbicides. Emphasis will be placed on the implication for sustainability of the environment. Fees: $50.00
