ENVS 4205 - Fisheries Science 4 hours Prerequisites: ENVS 1101 and ENST 1102 with a grade of “C-” or better. Sophomore Standing Fisheries resources provide ecological, economic, and recreational benefits to society. This course will provide students with an introduction to fisheries science by discussing fisheries practices, fish population dynamics and fisheries conservation strategies. Students will learn how to carry out a fisheries stock assessment utilizing fisheries-specific computer software and participate in field experiences in fish sampling methods. Fees: $50.00
