HIST 3011 - Late Antiquity 3 hours This course covers the “Christian Rome” era. Topics include the rise of the Christian Church as political authority, the fall of the Roman Empire, the emergence of the medieval world in western Europe, the eastern influences of Byzantine Rome, and conflicts between Christianity and Islamic empires.
