PHYS 3420 - Quantum Mechanics

Prerequisites: CHEM 3410 or PHYS 1112 or PHYS 2112 Co-requisite: MATH 2202 Quantum Mechanics seeks to apply physical and mathematical methods to the investigation of chemical systems. This second semester course will focus on the application of quantum mechanics to understanding atomic and molecular structure. Additional topics will include group theory and spectroscopy.
