HIST 3063 - The Cold War

Prerequisites:  HIST 1112 HIST 2112 . Must be a History major or minor or have permission of instructor. The course is a survey of the causes of the Cold War between the U.S and the U.S.S.R, as well as consequences for the world and its nation-states. Particular emphasis will be placed on the period from 1945 to 1989, American foreign policy and containment warfare, and domestic manifestations for the United States during that time period.When Offered: Occasionally
