Topics include the rise of the Christian Church as political authority, the fall of the Roman Empire, the emergence of the medieval world in western Europe, the eastern influences of Byzantine Rome, and conflicts between Christianity and Islamic empires.When Offered: Fall or Spring Every Three Years
